MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Arlie A. Smith, 85, of Mount Carroll, died Sunday at the Carroll County Good Samaritan Center, Mount Carroll. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Carroll, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the service time. The Rev. David Vidler will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carroll. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. Death date: Oct. 5, 2008
