WHEATON, Ill. — Mary M. Hamer, 91, of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, August 22, 2008, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray, Chris and Brian Darsidan, Tim Harwood and Jeff and Steve Gilbert. Mary M. Kubesch was born on October 31, 1916, in San Antonio, TX, to William and Mary (Popp) Kubesch. She married Richard C. Hamer in San Antonio, TX, on January, 12, 1946; he died on January 7, 1982. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the St. Irenaeus Church. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Hamer of Davenport, IA, Sandra (Patrick) Nowlin of Clinton, and Joanne (David) Gilbert of West Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren; 2 stepgrandchildren; 3 sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Kenneth, one brother and one sister. Memorials may be made to the family or to a charity of choice.
