Noble, Belva Irene "Bobbie"
CLINTON — Belva “Bobbie” Irene Noble of Clinton, left this life to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 16, 2008. She was born on the 11th day of May 1925 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Erma Bell and Jesse Franklin Sharp. She attended all her schooling in Clinton, Iowa, graduating from Clinton High in 1943.Bobbie and some girlfriends would bake cookies and take them down to the Northwestern Depot to hand out to the troops returning from war and those on the way to fight.Her first job was a typist at Curtis Woodworking Co. in 1943. She worked for 10 years. On the 14th of February, 1949, she married Kenneth J. Dauhr who passed away in February of 1979. On the 10th of June in 1980 she married Thomas Noble Sr. of Muscatine and resided at 2025 Second Avenue South until they both moved to Wyndcrest Nursing Facility during 2007.Bobbi worked at Dairy Pak for 30 years and retired in 1996. She then worked with the senior citizens at Park Towers for an additional 10 years.She attended New Hope Lutheran Church.She was avid gardener and loved watching her birds and animals. Being a great cook, she loved sharing recipes and always, even recently, enjoyed lunch at Krumpets.Bobbie will be missed by all her many friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Noble Sr. of Wyndcrest Nursing Facility, Clinton; a sister, Norma Jean Rehe, Clinton; six stepchildren, Connie Endresak of Bettendorf, Marlene Sholly of Wisconsin, Gordon Noble and Tom Noble Jr. of Davenport, Marcia Noble, Colona, IL, and Tim Noble of Rogers, Ark. She also had 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.At her request, no visitation or services will be held and interment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at lemkefh.com. Lemke Funeral Home-North Chapel, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.Death date: Aug. 16, 2008
