MORRISON, Ill. — Mae Domack, 98, of Morrison, died Monday at her home. A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison, IL, with the Rev. Father William Antillon, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison, IL, officiating. There will be no visitation. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Mass Offerings. She was born August 15, 1909, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to John and Catherine (Sommers) Domack. She was educated at St. Mary’s Grade School, Fancher, WI. Mae was a graduate of the St. Joseph Academy, Stevens Point, WI. She managed the former Hotel Whiteside in Morrison, IL. Later she was employed as a dietician by Vend Omack, Morrison, IL. Mae was a well-known local water color artist known best for her works representing local architectural landmarks, wildlife and flowers. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Morrison, IL. Mae was a member of the Natural Area Guardians Society and local art guild. Survivors include one brother, Francis E. Domack of Green Forest, AR; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Claire Szwajkart and Eleanor Bresemann; and five brothers, Lawrence, Dan, Ben, Stanley and Julian Domack.Death date: Aug. 11, 2008
