CARLISLE, Pa. — Catherine B. “Cappy” Fisher, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008, after a short hospital stay in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. “Cappy,” born in New Rochelle, New York, and grew up in Clinton, Iowa. During her life she resided in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Phoenix, Arizona; Annapolis, Maryland; as well as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities. Just prior to her passing, she resided in a lovely retirement community in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.She is survived by her children: Robert Bennett Andrews, Jane Elizabeth Stiffler and Thomas Philip Andrews; grandchildren: Megan Andrews and Shaun Andrews, daughter and son of Robert Andrews; Leighton P. Stiffler and Kelly R. Stiffler, son and daughter of Jane Stiffler; McCarthy B. Andrews and Hezekiah P. Andrews, sons of Thomas and Cathi Andrews; and great-grandchildren: Aaron Stiffler and Ethan Stiffler, sons of Leighton and Natosha Stiffler.Her surviving siblings include: brother, Philip Bennett of Gravais Mills, Missouri; and sister, Martha Kingsbury of Lincoln, Nebraska.A private ceremony will be held for the family near Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, Pa.Death date: July 12, 2008
