CLINTON — Ann M. Britt, age 92, of Clinton, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held Monday 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Ann was born on March 15, 1916, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Walter and Rose (Surdziel) Kandybowicz. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1934. She married Maurice Britt on Aug. 19, 1939, in Clinton, he died in 1991. Ann worked as a secretary in the personnel department at E.I. DuPont. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed fishing and music. Ann is survived by her daughter, Kathy Machael of Clinton; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Roehlk and Jay Machael; and a great-granddaughter, Cynthia Machael.
