SEATTLE — Lillian L. King, age 91 years, passed away in Seattle, Washington, on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was brought into this world on December 5, 1916, at McGregor, Iowa, by her parents Everett and Marie Landon and was preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. James (Blanch) Dozark, Mrs. Harry (Mina) Boock, Mrs. Theodore (Ann) Krull, Mrs. Leighton (Dena) Yadof; and three brothers Henry, Albert and Harold Landon. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Eloise) Auch and Vera M. Landon; sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry (Gertrude) Landon; and stepchildren Harlene Barkalow, Bonnie Linehan and Richard King. Lillian lived several years in Hanover, Illinois, with the love of her life, husband, Harland (Ike) King, who passed away July 29, 1974. During this time she was a well-qualified accountant at the Savanna Ordinance Depot. Lillian was a very kind and gentle lady who dedicated her life by quietly doing good deeds to help others. A memorial service for her will be held at Lemke Funeral Home located within the Clinton Lawn Cemetery on July 26th, with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and the Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m. Death date: May 27, 2008
