MORRISON, Ill. — Vera E. Landherr, 95, of the Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison, died Friday, July 4, 2008, at the Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, IL. The Rev. Thomas R. Petty, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Wednesday at Morrison United Methodist Church. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL. Memorials may be made to Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, IL, and the American Cancer Society.She was born October 13, 1912, in Morrison, IL, to Christian and Neva (Daniels) Rick. She attended rural Whiteside County grade schools. She married Harold J. Landherr on December 5, 1936, in Morrison, IL. He died March 21, 1973. She was employed at Herman Nelson’s and Climco Coils, both of Morrison, IL. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison, IL, where she was involved with the Faith Circle. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and she loved working in her flower garden. Survivors include one daughter, Glenda (Mrs. Tom) Ingram of Fulton, IL; four sons, Donald (Shirley) Landherr of Morrison, IL Lester (Marge) Landherr of Winfield, IL, Jim (Mary Jane) Landherr of Waukesha, WI, and Glenn (Donna) Landherr of Morrison, IL; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
