CLINTON — Wilfred G. Huebbe, 82, Clinton, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.Wilfred was born July 29, 1926, and served in the Army during World War II. He drove truck for many years and worked for Carstensen Freight Lines, Western Transportation, Determan Black Top and retired from Foley Construction. Wilfred was married to Marion “Tootie” Parker and later married Barbara Fizzel. She preceded him in death.He was a member of Church Of The Visitation, Camanche, and was also a member of the American Legion, AMVETS and VFW. Survivors include his children, Pamela (Paul) Ryder, Clinton, Mark (Becky) Huebbe, Cedar Rapids, Joseph Wilden, Clinton, Troy Huebbe, Ames; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores (Willy) Sikkema and Laura Davis, Clinton, Susan Clausen, Burlington, and Linda (Allen) Flagel, Preston; brothers, Dean (Chelly) Wing, Andorver, Darrell (Sue) Wing, Clinton and Calvin (Sue) Wing, Morrison. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by sons, Gerald and Wilfred, parents, sisters, Carol and Velma, and brothers, Richard, Roy, Duane and Larry.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at Church Of The Visitation, Camanche, with Father Richard Okomu officiating. Visitation will be from 3 until 7 P.M. Sunday at Lemke Funeral Home, South, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton, with a Scripture Service at 7 PM. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton. Death date: June 26, 2008
