OCALA, Fla. — Ocala, Shirley E. Duffy, age 87, of Ocala, FL, passed away at Sylvia House of Hospice on June 25, 2008. She was born March 7, 1921, in Harve, Montana. She lived in Clinton, IA, for 40 years where she raised her family. She and her husband, Russ, moved to Bradenton, FL, for 27 years, then to the Villages for 3 years and her last year at Marion Woods in Ocala, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Russell B. Duffy in March, 2008. She was a devout Catholic, avid bridge and golf player. She is survived by her four sons, Patrick Duffy, Ocala; Mike, Gainesville, FL; Tim, Arvada, CO; and Dan, Aurora, CO; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 30, 2008, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.Death date: June 25, 2008
