MORRISON, Ill. — Harvey J. Bush, 71, of 12950 Moline Road, Erie, IL, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford, IL. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, IL. The Rev. Philip Stel, associate pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lyndon Township Cemetery, Lyndon, IL. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Reformed Church. He was born October 19, 1936, in Morrison, IL, to Dick J. and Willemina (Vos) Bush. He attended the rural Whiteside County grade schools and Erie and Morrison, IL, high schools. He married Roberta Deelsnyder on June 20, 1958, in Fulton, IL. She survives. He farmed along with his wife and family in rural Erie, IL, area his entire life. He was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, IL. He was the Fenton and Erie Drainage District director. Member of the Whiteside County Farm Bureau and the Florida Flywheelers Club. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors and spending time at his lake with his entire family. Survivors include his wife, Roberta; one daughter, Debra (Mrs. Tony) Szabo of Morrison, IL; three sons, Tim (Patty) Bush of Erie, IL, Gary (Denise) Bush of Lyndon, IL, and Alan Bush of Erie, IL; ten grandchildren, Jeremy (Abby) Bush, Jason (Candice Betts) Bush, Scott Bush, Lucas (Kara) Bush, Josh (Ericka Pearson) Bush, Marcus (Noel LeMaster) Bush, Gregory Bush, Megan, Emily and Anna Szabo; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Harriet (Mrs. Donald) VanDerLeest of Morrison, IL.
