FULTON, Ill. — Myrna V. Welch, 66, of Fulton, died Thursday, June 12, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fulton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 16, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton. Memorials are established and can be made to Mass Offerings. She was born November 27, 1941, in Savanna, Ill., to Edward and Esther (Pugh) Charneski.She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Clinton. She married Donald L. Welch on June 25, 1960, in Fulton. She was employed by Clinton Garment Factory, Clinton, and Berg Pharmacy in Fulton for 17 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fulton, and a past member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Albany, Ill. She was a member of the Albany PTO and a member of the Albany Women’s Coffee Club. Myrna was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Donald; a daughter, Patty (Mrs. Tony) Martin of Fulton; a son, Don Jr. (Gabriele) Welch of Camanche; six grandchildren, Travis (Erin VanHouten) Martin, Tiffany Martin, Alex Martin; Nicole Welch, Sabrina Welch and Amber (Brian) Cook; two great-grandchildren, Nolan Morrow and Aidan Cook; four sisters, Lorraine (John) Bennett, Fulton, Patricia (Ron) Paulline, Fulton, Sheryl (Gary) Burns, Albany; and Kathy (Steven) Bearsley, Albany; two brothers, Edward (Irene) Charneski, Fulton, and Rick Charneski, Clinton.
