FULTON, Ill. — Donna J. Cole, 77, of Fulton, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, at the Albany United Methodist Church, Albany, Ill., with Rev. David W. Davies Jr., pastor of Albany United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Monday, at the Albany United Methodist Church. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Lusk Memorial Cemetery, Albany.She was born June 26, 1930, in Thomson, Ill., the daughter of William F. Yates and Edna A. (Doden) Hoy. She attended Fulton grade and high schools. She married Thomas J. Cole on June 25, 1949, in Albany. He died October 28, 1995. She was a homemaker, and she volunteered at the thrift store in Fulton for many years. She was a member of the Albany Canasta Club.She is survived by her mother, Edna Hoy, Fulton; one sister, Ardith (Mrs. Bud) Burns, Albany; two brothers, Blaine Yates, Savanna, Ill., and Ray “Bud” Hoy, Corvalis, Ore.; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Clara Thomas.She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her father, William; her stepfather, John Hoy; and one brother, Everett Yates. Memorials may be made to Albany United Methodist Church. Death date: June 11, 2008
