MANGELSEN, Henry N.
Henry N. MANGELSEN, 80, Revere hotel, a German-born citizen who has lived here since 1882, died yesterday at 8 p.m. in Jane Lamb hospital, where he had been a medical patient since Dec. 1, 1944. The body reposes in Snell funeral home, and funeral arrangements are being made for Friday.
Born in Schleswig Hostein, Germany, Feb. 22, 1865, the son of Peter and Anna MANGELSEN, he came to America and Clinton in 1882. He was a retired dispenser here. MANGELSEN belonged to the Turners society for 50 years; to Wapsie Aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the German society.
There are no survivors. A step-sister, Doris ANDERSEN, and a brother, Peter MANGELSEN, preceded him in death.
