Services for Carl William Dunk, 89, Grand Mound, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
He died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at his home.
He was employed by the Rock Island Arsenal for 43 years as an electro plater, retiring in 1979.
He was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Clinton. He married Laura Stralow in 1941. She died in 1967. He married Sylvia Franzen-Morris in 1974 in Davenport.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Grand Mound, or VNA Hospice of Clinton, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; daughters, Sally Burroughs, Lincoln, Neb., and Carole, DeWitt; sons, Edward, Marion, Iowa, and William, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Helen Manning, Maquoketa, Iowa; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
