1916 - 2003

Mary E. Hein, 86, Clinton, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hein was a homemaker.
Mary Thomas was born May 2, 1916, in Clinton County. She married Gerhard Hein in 1935 in Clinton. He died in 1972.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church and Benevolent Association.
Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Mulholland, Clinton, and Gayle Petersen, Terrebonne, Ore.; son, John, Clinton; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
