Marian Bentley 08/04/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Marian Z. Bentley, of Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Mrs. Bentley died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, at Samaritan Hospital North, Clinton. She retired in 1980 after many years as a seamstress at Clinton Garment Factory. Marian Hickenbottom was born March 15, 1920, in Miles, Iowa. She married Virgil Bentley in 1940 in Davenport. He died in 1976. Memorials may be made to the church. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Shoup, Fort Madison; sons, Russel, Clinton, and Roger, Dubuque; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Langhough, Chetek, Wis.; and a brother, Richard Hickenbottom, San Antonio.
