F. Raymond Bendtschneider 10/12/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for F. Raymond Bendtschneider, of Clinton, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, and 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the church. Mr. Bendtschneider died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1998, at Samaritan Hospital North, Clinton. He was a butcher by trade and had worked for 30 years at E. I. DuPont Co., retiring in 1971. Mr. Bendtschneider was born Jan. 25, 1908, in Clinton County. He married Eleanore Jaeger in 1932 in Clinton. She died in 1982. Memorials may be made to the organ fund at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include daughters, Sylvia Zickau, Clinton, and Louise Humes, Jones Creek, Texas; five grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
