Lucille Bahnsen 09/26/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Lucille Bahnsen, of Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton, formerly of 143 6th Ave. S., Clinton, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at Samaritan Hospital North, Clinton. Private family services will be held Saturday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. She and her husband had managed the Izaak Walton League and Lafayette Apartments, both in Clinton. She also had worked at the Burpee Seed Company, Clinton and had managed the Lisbon Dress Shop, Clinton. Lucille Tallett was born April 27, 1902, in Lyons. She married Frederick Bahnsen in 1922 in Freeport, Ill. He died in 1989. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Clinton, or the American Heart Association. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Johannsen, Waterloo, Wis., and Lois Griffith and Kathryn Fain, both of Clinton; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
