Marjorie Carnes 11/12/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Marjorie Ann Carnes, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Clinton, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Mrs. Carnes died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, in Los Gatos, Calif. Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. She had worked as an industrial real estate secretary and bookkeeper. Marjorie Merritt was born Nov. 27, 1909, in Clinton. She married Harvey Carnes in 1943 in Clinton. He died in 1982. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include a sister, Leone Romer, Clinton.
