Robert Cubit 08/28/1998 CLINTON, Iowa-- Services for Robert J. Cubit, of 208 1/2 2nd St., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cannon Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation is noon to 1 p. m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. Cubit died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids. He was a construction laborer at Captain Clean, Cedar Rapids. He was born March 23, 1955, in Chicago. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his mother, Arthuree Shelton, Chicago; sisters, Karol Warren, Chicago, and Linda Williams, Broadview; a brother, Gerald, Chicago; and a special friend, Janet Domer, Clinton, with whom he resided.
