KAUP, Florence
Florence G. 76, of Clinton, died Friday in her home.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Ronald YOUNG officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8p.m., Sunday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. A vigil service will be there at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
KAUP was born Feb 38, 1922 in Sugar Creek, to John and Cecelia STERK RICKERL.
She married Charles J. KAUP on July 12, 1941, in Clinton.
She was employed at Rich’s Toy Factory and was a homemaker.
KAUP was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, St. Patrick’s Altar and Rosary Society, Ava Maria Circle Card Club and the PTA.
She is survived by seven daughters, Cecily DOTY, Mrs. Susan (Denny) YTSEN, Rita WYNKOOP, Mary FENZEL, and Mrs. Julie (Kenneth) VILMONT, all of Clinton, Mrs. Nancy (Richard) WYNKOOP of Camanche, and Janis KAUP of Ames; five sons, Carl KAUP , Peter KAUP, David KAUP, and Daniel KAUP, all of Clinton, and Larry KAUP of Fond Du Lac, Wis.; two brothers, James RICKERL and George RICKERL, both of Clinton; four sisters, Rose DIEDRICH, and Leona BLUMER, both of Camanche, and Jeanne MUMM, and Alice PRINGLE, both of Clinton; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 16 step- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers.
