CLINTON — CLINTON — Julie Lynn Keis-Hessing, 35, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, June 7th, 2008, at her home. Julie was born February 2, 1973, in Clinton, daughter of Dan and Peggy (Clark) Keis Jr. She married Paul Hessing on October 1st, 1995. He survives. Julie was a homemaker and had an accounting degree. She was a 1991 graduate of Clinton High School. Scrapbooking, quilting and playing the piano were among her interests. Most of all she loved her family especially Paul and her boys. Besides her parents and her husband, Paul Hessing, of Clinton, she is survived by four sons, Trent, Alex, Evan and Brendan; paternal grandmother, Mary Keis of Clinton; three brothers, Gary (Laura) Keis, John (Chrissy) Keis and Jeff (Vicki) Keis all of Clinton; also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Beulah (Schroeder) Hessing of Clinton; two brothers-in-law, Jeff and Matt Hessing both of Cedar Rapids; three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14th, 2008, at The Lemke Funeral Home, South Chapel in Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jim Clark, Jeff and Matt Hessing and Gary, John and Jeff Keis.The Lemke Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
