Howard H. Gisel, 95, of Savannah and formerly of Maquoketa, died Thursday at Spanish Oaks Retreat in Savannah. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m. July 19 at the Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. July 19. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
