HARTMANN, Alfreida M.
Alfreida M. HARTMANN, 86 of DeWitt, died Sunday at Westwing Place.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, with Rev. Ronald H. GOODSMAN officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
She was born April 6, 1912 in DeWitt, to Fred and Margaret NISSEN STEEN. She married Andrew HARTMANN, Feb 12, 1935, in Elvira.
They farmed until their retirement.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the church Dorcas Circle, the DeWitt Homemakers and the DeWitt Town & Country Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Carol (James) SCHUNTER of DeWitt; three sons, Marvin HARTMANN, Kenneth HARTMANN, both of DeWitt and John HARTMANN of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herbert STEEN of Goose Lake.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
