GREER, S.C. — Madeline Helen Forconi, 99, of Greer, S.C., died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Oakleaf Village at Thornblade, surrounded by the love of her family.She was born in Virginia, Minnesota, on June 14, 1908. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Elliott McGee.She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Glendora Swanson McGee of Greenville; one grandson and his wife, Michael Edward and Judy McGee of Greer; one granddaughter and her husband, Cynthia Marie and Fay Dalton of Havelock, NC; one great- grandson, Justin Michael McGee of Charleston, SC; two great-granddaughters and their husbands, Stacey and Brad Haste of Holly Ridge, NC, and Melissa and Lee Jones of Anaconda, WA; one great-great-grandson, Lloyd Ashton Lee, and four great-great-granddaughters, Cora Paige Haste, Wren Hadley Haste, Eden McGee Haste, and London Riley Jones.A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Oakleaf Village at Thornblade. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetic Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.Arrangements are being handled by Cremation Society of South Carolina.Death date: May 29, 2008
