DAVENPORT — Paul S. Murphy, 29, formerly of Davenport passed away unexpectedly at his home in Leadville, CO on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2008 at Quint City Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM Sunday at the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Quint City Baptist Church Youth Department. He was born January 25, 1979 in Augsburg, Germany, the son of Daniel and Marla (Ottens) Murphy.Paul graduated from Quint City Baptist School in 1998 and was a long-time member of Quint City Baptist Church.He enjoyed rock climbing, snow-boarding, soccer, science fiction, and military history. He always wanted to be a friend to everybody.Survivors include his parents and siblings: Rachel Murphy-Kline, Luke Murphy, Erin DeVore, three loving nieces and two nephews, and paternal grandmother, Alma Murphy. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.Death date: May 11, 2008
