The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Cannon Funeral Home for Robert J. CUBIT, 43, of 208 1/2 S. Second St.
He died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
The Rev. Lionel DAVIS of Greater True Love Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wallace DAVIS, Michael TYLER, Charles SAMPSON and relatives and friends.
He was born March 23, 1955, in Chicago, to Robert James and Arthuree CUBIT JAMES.
He worked in the construction trade.
Survivors include his mother, Arthuree SHELTON of Chicago; tow sisters, Mrs. Linda Faye (Joseph) WILLIAMS of Broadview, Ill., and Karol WARREN of Chicago; and special friend, Janet DOMER of Clinton, with whom he made his home.
He was preceded in death by his father.
