Mrs. Michael CAWLEY, 87, 1610 North Second street, died Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Jane Lamb hospital where she had been a patient two week with hip injuries sustained in a fall.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Snell funeral home. The Rev. Frederick WILLIAMS, pastor of Grace Episcopal church, will officiate and burial will be in Springdale cemetery. The body will repose in the family home until the funeral hour.
Julie Anne OLSON was born Dec. 10, 1857, in Sweden, daughter of Daniel and Marie OLSON, and came to this country when she was 13 years old. On Nov. 10, 1878, she married Michael CAWLEY in Morrison, Ill., and the home was established in Clinton. She was the last living member of the first communion class of the Clinton Swedish Lutheran church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Andrew HANSEN and Mrs. Willis SCHULDT of Clinton, Mrs. Will WALL of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Shepard PIKE of Salt Lake City; four sons, Earl C. CRAWLEY of Detroit and Roy, Harry and Charles of Clinton, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1937, and a son, Edward, in 1935.
