CLINTON — Susan M. Neff, age 58, of Clinton, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Clarissa Cook Hospice Home in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the funeral service and burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorials to the family or the American Cancer Research. Susan was born on Sept. 6, 1949, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Henry and Geraldine (Jackson) Stuer. She graduated from Mount St. Clare Academy in 1967 and attended Clinton Community College. She married Steven Neff on Aug. 16, 1969, in Clinton; he died in 1997. She worked as a secretary at Lectronics for over 19 years, where she was very close to all of her co-workers. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, River City Needlework Guild and enjoyed playing cards. Susan is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Kayla (Landis) Andresen of Clinton; her father, Henry Stuer of Clinton; mother-in-law, Thea Neff of Clinton; sister, Mrs. Kathie (John) Grycki of LeClaire, IA; two brothers, David (Rise) Stuer of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Tom (Kim) Stuer of Camanche; a niece, six nephews and several cousins; her special friends, Gary and Mary Ann Fier, Skip and Judy Carstensen, Ray and Linda Peck. She was preceded in death by her mother.Death date: April 23, 2008
