Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at the funeral home. MUSCATINE, Iowa — Rosalie Kerr, 81, of Muscatine, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Lutheran Homes. Rev. Ray Oehme will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be Christopher Ytzen, Erika Ytzen, Gabriel Kerr, Kristopher Bunch and Kevin Bunch. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences for the Kerr family may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.Rosalie was born on December 28, 1926, in Johnston City, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Jewel Barnes. She married Thomas P. Kerr on November 28, 1946, in Johnston City, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2006. She had worked at Muscatine General Hospital as secretary for the Director of Nursing. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Rosalie enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Michael T. Kerr and wife, Kay, of Muscatine; one daughter, Karen Ytzen and husband Chuck, of Schumburg, Illinois; six grandchildren; one brother, Glen Barnes of Johnston City, Illinois; and one sister, June Marks of Marion, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Helen. Death date: April 29, 2008
