Weaver funeral is set

CLINTON -- Hugh S. Weaver, 76, of Clinton, died Sunday at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Jo Kramer, Micheal and Steven Struve, John R. Sawvell Jr., Steve Maika, Titus Crawford, Mickie Sawvell and Michael Brown.

He was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Paint Creek to Locy and Margaret Hamilton Weaver. he married Marcella Rose on April 13, 1960, in Lone Rock, Wis.

He worked as a truck driver with the Attco Seed Co. for several years and with National By-Products for 14 years before retiring in 1983.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Diana (Kenny) Jewell of Low Moor, Mrs. Deb (Rich) Holmquist of Davenport, Margaret Weaver of Clinton, Mrs. Pam (Kraig) Kiester of Belleplaine, Minn., and Mrs. Debra (Dave) Kiefat of Lakeville, Minn.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Fran (Gene) Hynek of Janesville, Wis., and Marion Kramer of Clinton; a son, Robert Weaver of Lebanon, Mo; a stepson, John R. Sawvell Sr. of Clinton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepson, two grandsons and a sister.
