Clinton -- Emma P. Dumont, 102, of Clinton, died Monday at the Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility, Clinton.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour at the church. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jeff and Joel Howe, Allen Cousins, Richard Vining, Paul, Mike and Joe Mulholland, Jerry Thompson and Mark Burkert.

She was born May 28, 1901, in Clinton to Christian and Katrina Sonnichen Benson. She married Henry N. Dumont on June 5, 1923, in Clinton. He died in 1975.

She was a homemaker and also had been employed as a salesperson with the former Kline's Store in downtown Clinton.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Parent Teacher Association.

Survivors include nine nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a sister and a brother.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Mercy Hospice.
