CLINTON — Vernon O. Rosenberger, 90, of Clinton, passed away Friday, February 22nd, 2008, at the Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Vernon was born September 25th, 1917, in Clinton, son of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Manemann) Rosenberger. He was a 1936 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Lynn Suehl on April 29th, 1968, in Clinton. She survives. Vernon owned and operated Rosenberger Insurance Agency in Clinton for 62 years. He was a member of the Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Parish in Clinton and was a past member of the Elks, Moose and Clinton Country Club for over 65 years. He enjoyed golfing and his greatest joy was visiting and reminiscing with his family and friends. Besides his wife, Lynn, he is survived by a sister, Elizabeth J. Cavanaugh, of Clinton and two brothers, Robert H. (Janet) Rosenberger of DeWitt and Leo C. (Barbara) Rosenberger of Calabasas, California, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Phyllis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s or American Heart Association.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27th, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Prince of Peace, Clinton. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Clinton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Lemke Funeral Home, North Chapel, in Clinton. A parish vigil service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Lemke North Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jason Manderscheid, Wayne Suehl, Douglas Suehl, Daniel Brueske, Thomas Brueske, Randall Hunt, Virgil Hunt and Raymond Kearney.The Lemke Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of the arrangements. Death date: Feb. 22, 2008
