CLINTON — Robert Henry Jensen, 90, of Clinton, died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehab Center. Burial will be held at a later date in Kentucky. Lemke Funeral Homes —Lyons Chapel, 2304 North Third Street, is assisting the family with arrangements.Robert was born on April 4, 1917, in Bettendorf to Carl and Charlotte (Bruellisaur) Jensen. He married Gladys Hagen on November 18, 1939, in Clinton. Robert was employed with Dupont. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, helped with Meals on Wheels and was a blood donor. Robert enjoyed fishing, bowling and working in the yard.Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Clinton; one son, James Jensen of Clinton; two daughters, Sandy (Larry) Tinius of Philpot, KY, and Linda (Terry) Arnold of Owensboro, KY; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Pauline (Herald) Bond of Indianapolis, IN, and Jannette Cleary of Texas.His parents, one son, Robert Jr., and two brothers, Don and Ken, preceded him in death.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Meals on Wheels or the American Red Cross.Condolences can be made online at www.lemkefuneralhome.net.Death date: Feb. 17, 2008
