The Clinton Herald Friday November 23, 1979 p. 14 Mrs. Cecelia Ingwersen, 89, of 444 4th Ave. N., died Thursday at Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stanley Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be John Lauritzen, Jim Lauritzen, David Schroeder, Rand Papke, Mark Naeve, Marvin Nissen and Don Scumacher. Mrs. Ingwersen was born June 11, 1890, in Germany, the daughter of Martin and Caroline Christensen Nissen. She came to the Clinton area as a child. She married Paul Ingwersen Dec. 29, 1920 in Clinton. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Naomi Circle Church and Turner Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband; a son, Glenn of Atlanta; two daugthers, Mrs. Jack (Jean) Lauritzen of Clinton and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Slach of West Branch; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Marie Schumacher of Clinton. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
