The Clinton Herald Thursday September 8, 1964 p. 5 Arthur Greve, 56, a life-long resident of the Teeds Grove area, died Monday morning in Jane Lamb hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the MIles Presbyterian church with the Rev. Laurence Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Teeds Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen funeral home in Sabula after 2 p.m. today. A private family service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday after which friends may call at the church. (All hours Central Standard) Mr. Greve was born March 17, 1898 at Teeds Grove, the son of Johannes and Kathryn Eggers Greve. He farmed and worked at the Savanna Army Depot and Dairy Pack of Clinton during his lifetime. Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Visetta R. Leonard of Sabula, Mrs. Alice L. Kroeger of Teeds Grove, Mrs. Yvonne I. Meyer of Bellevue, Mrs. Jeannette I. Gruhn of Sabula and Mrs. Donna D. Galusha of Teeds Grove; five sons, Leroy and Lester of Sabula, Ben and Willis of Bryant, and Gary of Ottumwa; and several grandchildren. Mr. Greve was preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers and one sister.
