The Clinton Herald Monday January 8, 1990 p. 12 The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home for Jack Lee Bumann, 57, 270 33rd Ave. N., who died Friday at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, of natural causes. The Rev. Harvey A. Grote of Ascension Lutheran Church, Goose Lake, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Larry Carpenter, Mike Grinnall, Bill Dawson and Bud, John and Ray Weldy. Mr. Bumann was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Clinton, to Marion and Lillian Brandenburg Bumann. He lived his entire life in Clinton and attended Clinton public schools. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lillian Walker of Clinton, his step-mother, Mrs. Louise (Peggy) Bumann of Clinton; four sisters, Mrs. Dick (Norma) McCrea of Fulton, Mrs. Mick (Donna) Grinnall and Mrs. Oddie (Janice) Kunavich, both of Clinton, and Jacklyn Weldy of Davenport; and a stepbrother, Chancy Scribner of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
