The Clinton Herald Friday June 12, 1987 p. 10 The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home for Donald H. Allison, 40, of 1001 S. 8th St., who died Thursday in Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, of natural causes. The Rev. John Spiegel, chaplain of Mercy Hospital, Clinton, will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe DeHaven, Gene Kennedy, Les Kofahl, Bob Parron, Arnold Anderson and Dale Weller. Mr. Allison was born Feb. 20, 1939, in Clinton, to Clarence and Eleanor Hensel Allison. He was a 1957 graduate of Clinton High School and was a lifetime member of the community. Mr. Allison was employed at Alcoa, Davenport, for two years, and Mercy Hospital, Clinton, for nine years and was a veteran of the United States Navy for seven years. Survivors include his mother of Clinton; two brothers, his twin, David, of New Britain, Conn., and C. Michael of Miami, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
