WATERLOO — Lorene Schellhorn, 85, of Clinton, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday Feb. 10, at Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton, of natural causes.She was born May 19, 1923, in Westgate, the daughter of William and Lydia Koelling Sabin. She married Elmer Schellhorn on May 14, 1943, in Westgate. He died Dec. 4, 1990.Ms. Schellhorn was a homemaker.Survivors include four sons, Lynn (Suellen) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Gary (Mary) of Clinton, Michael (Brenda) of Sedalia, MO, and Jeffery (Linda) of Sherman, TX; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Diane) Sabin of Westgate and Vern (Verla) Sabin of Cedar Falls; a sister, Martha Tellin of Westgate. Preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Sabin and Dale Sabin.Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St. Visitation also one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.Online condolences may be left at www.hagartywaychoffgrarup.com.Death date: Feb. 10, 2008
