CLINTON — Theresa L. Huyck, age 46, of Clinton, died Monday, February 4, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 309 30th Ave. No., in Clinton. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Robert Seger, Joe Dean, Brian Crosser and Jim Norman. Theresa was born on October 14, 1961, in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Taft) Huyck. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1980 and was also a graduate of Clinton Community College. Theresa attended Marycrest College in Davenport. She entered into a commitment ceremony with Steve Quick in 2001. Steve died in 2007. Theresa had worked at the Golden Corral. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. She enjoyed music, especially John Lennon and Pink Floyd. Theresa is survived by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Huyck, of Clinton; and her special family, Cheryl Smith and Ryann Smith, both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A memorial has been established.Death date: Feb. 4, 2008
