CLINTON — James T. Disher age 61 of Clinton, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 5th at Prince of Peace Parish, Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Thom Hennen will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. James was born on February 26, 1946 in Chicago the son of Paul M. and Edna G. Ryan Disher. He received his BA degree from Loyola University and his Masters degree from Northern Illinois Univer-sity. James married Gwen Carroll on April 22, 1972, in Chicago.James was an Elementary Learning Disabilities Teacher at Elijah Buell and Eagle Heights School for 35 years. He had been a union representative for the teachers union. James was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. James is survived by his son, Jason (Patricia) Disher of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Ryan, Emma and Cameron; two sisters, Patricia Disher of Park Ridge, IL and Barbara (Raymond) Tapper of Crystal Lake, IL; and two nieces, Patricia Ann and Karen. James was preceded in death by his parents.Death date: Jan. 31, 2008
