The Clinton Herald Monday January 22, 1968 p. 11 Eddie J. Hagge, 64, of Andover, died Saturday evening in Jane Lamb hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Faith Lutheran church in Andover with Rev. Kenneth Eggen officiating. The organist is Mrs. Robert Jargo and the vocalists are Mrs. Harry Huebner and Mrs. William Johnson. Friends may call today at the Shadduck-Cannon funeral home from where the body will be taken at 12 p.m. Tuesday to the church. Pallbearers will be Frank Rittmer, Virtus Rittmer, Don Jansen, LeRoy Wilke, LeRoy Pretz and Harold Behrens. Burial will be in the Andover cemetery. Mr. Hagge was born June 14, 1903 in Clinton county, the osn of Henry and Alvina Grimm Hagge. He attended Clinton county schools and married Clara Greve on Jan. 25, 1928 in Clinton. He was owner and operator of the Hagge ballroom in Andover for the past 26 years. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Kenneth and Duane, both of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Marlene) Bott of Clinton; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Alvina Hagge of Clinton and two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Viola) Gustafson and Mrs. Vernetta Petersen, both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
