The Clinton Herald Thursday May 13, 1943 p. 10 DeWitt - Mrs. William N. Greves, 56, of near DeWitt, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton, following an illness of one year. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday in the home and burial will be in Memorial Park. The body will repose in the McGinnis funeral home, DeWitt, until this evening, when it will be taken to the home. Arvilla Marie Jensen was born June 17, 1887, in Clinton. She married William M. Greves Oct. 23, 1912, near DeWitt. She was a member of the Hillsdale, Ill., Methodist church. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Claus John Greves of Fulton and Ralph Greves, Route No. 1, Camanche; six sisters, Mrs. John Kuehl of Hillsdale, Mrs. Oscar Carlsen of Clinton, Mrs. Earl Nost of Mechanicsville, Mrs. A.V. Doherty of Clinton, Idella Jansen of Hillsdale and Mrs. Arthur Freeman of Grand Mound; and three grandchildren.
