The Clinton Herald Thursday December 26, 1968 p. 14 Ingwer Ketelsen, 75, area farmer, died Thursday in his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Baldwin Methodist church with Rev. Robert Brightman officiating. Burial will be in Pence cemetery. Friends may call at the Carson funeral home in Maquoketa. Ingwer Ketelsen was born in Brickstead, Germany on Jan. 12, 1893, the son of John and Margaret Ingwerson Ketelsen. He married Lessie Wiesen on Nov. 18, 1931 in Elwood. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Shirley) Nowachek and Miss Evelyn Gillette, both of Bldwin and Mrs. Sheri Martin of Vermillion, Ohio; two sons, Harlan of Dyersville and Harry of Baldwin, one brother, Ketel, of Germany; one sister, Mary Ketelsen of Germany; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
