The Clinton Herald Wednesday April 2, 1969 p. 8 Raymond L. Malmanger, 74, of Grand Mound, died Tuesday in DeWitt hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran church, Calamus. Rev. Marvin Robeck will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Kelly funeral home, Grand Mound. Pallbearers will be Arlan, Eugene and Ronald Lass, James Nagle, Robert Lage and Robert Olson. Mr. Malmanger was born March 13, 1895, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Henry and Christie Malmanger. He was educated in Clinton county schools. He was a member of the Our Savior's church, a veteran of WWI and a member of the Grand Mound Legion post. He married Clara Iverson on Oct. 9, 1919, and the couple farmed near Grand Mound. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Edward and Kenneth, two daughters, Miss Gertrude Malmanger and Mrs. Harold (Arlene) Green, all of Grand Mound; 16 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Lass of DeWitt and one brother, Oscar Malmanger of Clinton. He was preceded in death by one brother.
