Jackson, William Fidelis View/Sign Guest Book

OLIN — William Fidelis Jackson, 68, of Olin, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, in his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Pastor Aaron Telecky will officiate at the service. Interment will be at the Green Center Cemetery, Morley. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Survivors include his wife, Faith; 3 daughters, Valeree (Kelly) Kelchner of Center Junction, Tiffany (Ismail Al-Yassiri) Jackson of Marion and Rachel (Eric Ireland) Jackson of Marion; 4 sons, David (Diane) Larsen of Maquoketa, William Scott (Melissa) Jackson of Clinton, Bryon (Tiffany) Jackson of Noble, Iowa, and Jeremiah (Tonya Roling) Jackson of Clinton; a half sister, Leatha Benson of Oregon; a half brother Michael Jackson of Washington state; a brother in law, John C. Pieper (Cindy) of Anamosa; 3 nieces, Laurie Pieper of Anamosa, Mary Ghim of Texas and Rebecca Moore of Des Moines; 1 nephew, Bill Yilek of Marion; 14 grandchildren, Brittany, Aaron, Fatima, Alham, Haki, Zahra, Mark, Melinda, Teria, Scottie, Lawrence, Samantha, Cole and Kendal; 5 great-grandchildren, Camron, Anthony, Attalina, Kenneth and Desirea; and life long friends, Dave and Sandi Densmore. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Joshua Jay Jackson, and a sister-in-law, Niara Pieper. William Fidelis Jackson was born June 1, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Fidelis Schooley and Margarett Valeria (Broderson Jackson) Fuller. William served his country by joining the United States Navy. On January 26, 1973, he was united in marriage with Faith M. Pieper in Morrison, Illinois. He worked as a printer at the Clinton Herald and the Tri-Cities Herald, Kennewick, Washington. He also worked at Champion Packaging and later at the Community Care Inc. William attended Clinton Community College. William enjoyed photography, fishing, hunting, being an amateur radio operator and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.Death date: Jan. 12, 2008
