CLINTON — Dorothy E. Greenwalt age 86 of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Clinton, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008 at Hubbard Hill Retirement Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family wishes the memorials be given to the Elkhart Hospice, 2901 E. Bristol St.. Ste. C, Elkhart, IN 46514. Dorothy was born on July 3, 1921 in Thomson, IL, the daughter of Edward and Elma (Lawrence) Bell. She married John Greenwalt on Sept. 5, 1938 in Clinton; he died in 1997. She worked for Lou Marges in Clinton for over 35 years. She enjoyed traveling and making quilts. Dorothy is survived by her son, Curtis (Anna) Greenwalt of Bristol, IN; three granddaughters, Sherri, Julie, and Beth; and a great grandson, Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael in 1963.Death date: Jan. 10, 2008
