FULTON, Ill. — Naomi A. Riceman, 81, of 6510 Holly Road, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, January 09, 2008, at her residence with her family at her side. Private family graveside services are on Monday, January 14, 2008, with the Rev. Scott Stephan, pastor of Second Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. There will be no visitation. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Inurnment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice, Clinton, IA. She was born April 26, 1926, in Andover, IL, to Harry and Anna (Peterson) Johnson. She was educated in Andover, IL, schools. She married Donald E. Riceman on August 17, 1946, in Rock Island, IL. He died October 27, 1987. Naomi owned and operated “The Ceramic Shop” in Fulton for many years; later moving it to her home. She received The Freddie Award for best-of-show for a ceramic piece in 1961. Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Mrs. Leon) Groh of Fulton, IL, and Suzan (Mrs. Donald) Huebner of Albany, IL; four grandchildren, Laura (Mrs. Bill) Eads, Lisa (Mrs. Mark) Peska, Tyler Huebner, Kyle Huebner; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Jongejan of Cambridge, IL, Mrs. Verla Shelton of Geneseo, IL; and two brothers, Harry Johnson of Florida and Clarence (Lisa) Johnson, Cambridge, IL.
