NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. — Betty L. Koegel, 89, formerly of Clinton, died Saturday, January 5, 2008, in Newtown Square, PA. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2008, at Springdale Cemetery with Rev. Paul Holmer officiating. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Betty Lou Lundgren was born on September 15, 1918, the daughter of Harold and Gardie (Nelson) Lundgren. She married Wayne W. Koegel on September 4, 1955, in Clinton. Betty was a 1936 graduate of Clinton High School and was employed at the Clinton Corn Company. Upon her marriage, she moved to Pennsylvania and became a homemaker. Betty is survived by her husband, Wayne W. Koegel of Newtown Square, PA; two sons, Wayne L. Koegel of Great Falls, VA, and Mark W. Koegel of Turtle Lake, WI; two daughters, Karin E. Anderson of Prescott, AZ, and Kristin L. Marcoe of Arlington, VA; and four grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clinton.
